| Description | When you access Sage Payroll Professional on an Apple Macbook, you experience navigation issues or a floating keyboard appears which you can't deactivate. |
| Cause | This issue appears due to incompatibility of web technologies and browsers running on Apple CPU machines and Windows CPU machines. Disabling hardware acceleration in the browser can avoid this issue. |
| Resolution | - Close the payroll application in Google Chrome.
- Click the three vertical dots icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- In the menu on the left side of the window, expand the Advanced menu.
- Click System.
- Deactivate the switch next to Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Click Relaunch to open the browser.
 CAUTION: We don’t recommend using Safari as a browser to access Sage Payroll Professional. You won't be able to activate hardware acceleration.
